Address: | 20 Tottenham Court Road, W1T (streetmap) (osm) (gmap) (bingmap) (streetview) |
London borough: | Camden |
Historical parish: | St Pancras |
Dates open: | by 1788-at least 1797 |
Notes: | Sun fire insurance records indicate a property at 20 Tottenham Court Rd in 1788 listed as "next the Welsh Harp", but another record of 1792 indicates a victualler at this address so perhaps they shared the property. Number 20 was on the north side of the entrance to Black Horse Yard (later Tudor Place), while the "Black Horse" (19 Tottenham Court Road, see separate entry) was on the south side of this inlet. |
