This is also listed in the 1839 directory as the "Platform House", and variously as the "Platform", the "Platform House" and the "Platform Coffee House" in Sun Fire Office insurance records. It may therefore have been more of a coffee house, but the insurance records list a victualler at this location and it's in the 1839 Pigot's directory as a pub, so it may have served alcoholic drinks. |
