Notes: | Location on the map is a guess, but a 1788 Sun Fire Office insurance record mentions a granary next to the "King's Arms" and near to the "Old Rose" (see separate entry, but whose location I have also guessed); Lafone Street was previously named Kings Row, so it's possible this may have taken its name from the pub, so my guess puts it at the intersection. |
