Notes: | Location on the map is a guess. The southern side of the street (where this pub was presumably located), appears to have been demolished for the construction of railway lines into Bishopsgate station (originally Shoreditch station, opened 1840), and much of the rest of the street followed around the 1870s to facilitate further railway line construction. As a result the street has been realigned from its original trajectory parallel to modern Cheshire Street. |
