Notes: This is shown as "Alma House" in the 1861 census, but it does not appear to be a pub at that time, nor in the 1865/66 directory, where the proprietor is listed as a "grocer, butcher &c." It may possibly never have been a beer house, despite the name. Location on the map is a guess, but it may be the same building as is currently a shop at 70 Heath Road (CR7 8NE).
