Notes: | This was a separate establishment from the "New Market Hotel" next door at 26 King Street (see separate entry, now "Bird of Smithfield"), and is listed as just the "Victoria" still in the 1921 directory, though the 1910 and 1915 directories only list the "New Market and Victoria Hotel" at 24 & 26 King Street so it may have been subsumed into that establishment around that time. The 1916 Ordnance Survey map still shows them separately. |
